Denny Sub Area Command includes the communities of Denny, Dunipace, Bonnybridge, High Bonnybridge, Greenhill, Allandale, Head of Muir, Longcroft, Haggs and Banknock and the communities of Stenhousemuir, Larbert, Kinnaird Village, Torwood, Carron, Carronshore, Airth, Dunmore and South Alloa.
The Sub Area Command Police Office is located within the Central Business Park, Larbert with a Community Police Office facility located in Church Walk, Denny.
These areas are covered by five shifts of Operational Officers and their Sergeants and by two teams of four Community Police Officers.
The Community Team is supplemented by two Schools Based Officers at Denny High School and Larbert High School. These Officers work within the schools and in conjunction with locality services and the Community Police Team.
The Community Policing Teams work closely with other partner agencies such as the Community Warden Service, all with the principal aim of addressing local problems and finding and implementing solutions to them.
We are dedicated to tackling antisocial behaviour including vandalism, littering, noise nusiance and alcohol offences which can all impact on the quality of life for residents.
The area will soon benefit from a state of the art hospital which is situated in Larbert on the site of the old Royal Scottish National Hospital and which is currently in the final stages of construction. This facility will see the mergence of the majority of departments and units within the current hospital facilities at Falkirk and District Royal Infirmary and Stirling Royal Infirmary.
